STOLT JAEGER 9114775

Wed Nov 24 12:56:07 CET 2010 Timsen

On Nov 24 the "Bow Bracaria" remained anchored on the Elbe off Otterndorf where it proceeded in the evening of Nov 23. It is waiting to be lightered by 100 tons cargo onto another ship which is complicated as only few vessels may carry hydrogen peroxide. The "Bow Bracaria" had on board 5125 tons, which has to compensated by 170 tons soft water. The ship lightered 100 tons ballast water, and 100 tons bunker fuel will now have to be pumped onto another ship before it will be allowed to continue its voyage from Antwerp to Letland.

STOLT JAEGER 9114775

Tue Nov 23 20:50:58 CET 2010 Timsen

On Nov 23, 2010, at 9.15 a.m. the "Bow Bracaria" was controlled by the police while passing the Brunsbuettel locks eastbound and found to be overloaded by 250 tons with on the whole 5125 tons hydroxen peroxid from Belgium to Letland. This cargo makes it necessary to carry an amount of 170 tons additional sea water. On board were only 100 tons ballast water. The ship thus had to unload 100 tons bunker fuel as an equivalent. A safety fine of some thousand Euro had to be paid. As there were found even more defiencies, the police started more investigations against on the whole three crew members. The ship actually remains in Brunsbuettel.
