Star Clippers plans first calls to Borneo, Skiathos and Skopelos

Tall ship cruise operator Star Clippers is to homeport in Borneo and visit the Greek islands of Skiathos and Skopelos for the first time in 2019. Between May and October 2019, Star Clipper will sail new 11-night itineraries from Kota Kinabalu in Borneo to Singapore, calling at destinations in the Malay Archipelago.

Crew member died after medevac

A crew member was medevaced from the "STar Clipper" while she was anchored off Thira, Santorini, on Oct 13, 2016. By the time of the medevac, he was in coma, and later died in a hospital.

Swedish luxury cruises sails Indonesia for the first time

Monaco-based Star Clippers is the brainchild of Swedish entrepreneur, Mikael Krafft, whose sailing cruises may not be that known in Southeast Asia yet. This is about to change as this specialist will sail in Indonesian waters for the first time in 2017 with the Star Clipper. The company, which is known for its three impressive sailing ships, offers passengers 19 departures between May 6 and October 14, 2017 and between 7, 10, 11 or 14 nights on board. The cruises run from Bali and Singapore but also makes Bali Tours and cruises from Bali to Singapore or vice versa.
