Five perpetrators off Pulau Berakit
The duty crew on the anchored "Ocean Mars" spotted five perpetrators boarding the vessel from the stern, 22.8 nautical miles from Pulau Berakit in position lat 01 19 48N, long 104 28 12E, on Jan 4, 2018, at 05.58 a.m. The general alarm was sounded and the crew retreated to the citadel. Later, the crew conducted a search of the vessel and it was determined that the perpetrators had left the vessel. Nothing was reported stolen.
