Air issues in main engine

The 'Spring Glory' was disabled due to air issues in the main engine in position 49 05 53.7 N, 123 41 54.0 W, whilst approaching anchorage 7 in the Trincomali Channel on Dec 31, 2019, at 4.10 p.m. The vessel was subsequently moored at anchorage 7 and sailed again on Jan 2 at 12.20 a.m. and headed to Vancouver. On Jan 4 it left Canadian waters bound to Ningbo with an ETA as of Jan27, 2020.

Collision in Singapore Strait

Boxship Josephine Maersk and Panamax bulk carrier Spring Glory collided on May 05 2012 in Singapore Strait sailing in opposite directions - Josephine Maersk was en route from New Zealand to Tanjung Pelepas, Spring Glory was en route from India to China. Details are unknown, but presumably damages were minimal, as both vessels resumed voyage. Josephine Maersk is moored in Tanjung Pelepas as of evening May 7, Spring Glory is on her way to China.
