Repairs of collision damage completed

The "Splittnes" departed from Bremerhaven after completition of repairs at Lloyd Yard on Feb 2 bound for Immingham als first port of call where it moored on Feb 6, sailing further to Kingston upon Hull and Jelsa, while the Panama-flagged container m/v "Mol Efficiency" remains at the Columbus Quay in Bremerhaven since Jan 19 after the repair was completed.

While the "Mol Efficiency" (IMO: 9251365) is still under "wet repair" at the Lloyd-Yard Bremerhaven with the bow trimmed down to get the rudder gear above water, the "Splittnes" departed from the Columbus Quay on Nov 30 at 7 a.m. and moored at Lloyd Yard at 8.20 a.m. for drydocking in the small floating dock. Gravel cargo unloaded

On Nov 26 the "MOL Efficiency" sailed to the Lloyd-Yard where repairs of the steering gear started immediately.
