In the night of June 17, 2011, the 56-year-old master of the Fursund ferry "Sleipner-Fur" was arrested by local police in Skive, charged for sailing intoxicated. After having given blood sample the captain was released. "We have a clear policy that says you should not drink alcohol during working hours. But we think he should have the results before we do anything, "says Villy Svinth, ticket manager at Fursund Ferry to TV2/Midt-Vest. The 56-year-old ferry captain is exempt from service pending the outcome of the blood sample is ready in a couple weeks.
