Sinar Solo started discharging damaged cargo
The 'Sinar Solo', following its collision with the bulk carrier 'Taho Australia', berthed at the Keppel Terminal in Tanjong Pagar on May 21 and started discharging its damaged containers at a special lay berth. The ship had suffered damage at starboard side.
Collision off Singapore
On May 6, 2021, the 'Sinar Solo' was in collision with the bulk carrier 'Taho Australia' in the Singapore Strait off Lagoi, Northern Bintan Island. The ship suffered damage at starboard side in main deck area. Also several containers were damaged. The vessels anchored near the incident scene. The 'Taho Australia' resumed its voyage at 9.20 p.m. She had suffered only superficial damages. The 'Sinar Solo' shifted to Singapore Anchorage on May 7 where she moored in pos. 01° 11.23' N 103° 45.67' E and remained stationary as of May 14.
