Engine failure off Pembrokeshire
The 'Front Panther', en route from Yanbu Industrial, Saudi Arabia, to Milford Haven, Pembrokeshire, suffered a main engine failure due to the parameters within the software, in position 51 32 22.8 N, 05 21 12 W, 13 miles southwest of St Annes Head, Pembrokeshire, on Aug 27, 2019. The Coastguard was made aware at 1 p.m. As of 3.30 p.m. the engineers had rectified the problem and the tanker continued the voyage to Milford Haven. It moored on Milford Haven Anchorage around 7 p.m. and remained stationary in pos. 51° 47.12' N 005° 16.70' W as of Aug 29.
