Thu Oct 26 11:04:44 CEST 2023 Timsen

The 'Sergej Balk' along with the Russian submarine 'B-265-Krasnodar' were located off the Belgian coast on Oct 22 at midday, heading north. On Oct 15 the Spanish patrol boat had escorted the convoy at the northern border to Portugal on its way towards the Baltic Sea, after it had been spotted on Oct 11 near the Balearic coast off Mallorca. Russian warships monotored off the Balearic islands

Tue Oct 24 10:47:24 CEST 2023 Timsen

The two Russian warships, the 'Sergey Balk', and the Kilo class submarine ÄKrasnodarÄ, which were located by the Spanish Navy on Oct 17 in the waters of the Balearic Islands, south of Ibiza, were again detected off the Galician coast. They were heading to their home port in the Baltic. After the first detection in the Mediterranean, the patrol boat 'Centinela' set sail on the afternoon of Oct 15 towards the northern border with Portugal to locate and monitor the two naval units. Despite the harsh weather conditions and lack of visibility, the two Russian vessels were located on the afternoon of Oct 17 near the border. From that moment on, the 'Sentinel' followed their route towards the northern limit of the Spanish exclusive economic zone and, on Oct 18´the patrol boat returned to the base port in Ferrol. The two Russian ships had already been accompanied by the 'Rayo' as it passed through the Mediterranean.
