Clipper of Denmark forms 14-Vessel Pool with Swiss and German Partners

Fri Nov 16 09:21:51 CET 2012 arnekiel

Denmark's Clipper Projects has formed a new multi-purpose pool with Enzian Ship Management of Zurich, Switzerland, and Freese Shipping of Stade, Germany. The new pool will consist of 14 vessels from 15,000- to 20,000 deadweight tons. However, the group plans to expand the pool with more members and ships. The pool will be managed by Clipper Projects and will supplement the existing Clipper Projects fleet now numbering 45 modern multi-purpose vessels with lifting capacities up to 400 tons, the company said in a statement. "The creation of this pool is in line with Clipper Projects’ strategy to participate in the consolidation of the multi-purpose market," Kristian Morch, CEO of Clipper Projects, said. "We believe that the pool will form a solid platform for further growth.”
