SEA PROFILER 5321576
On Sep 25, 20910, a rescue helicopter has delivered two additional pumps to the "Sea Profiler" after it began taking water earlier that day. The owners called Humber Coastguard at 12.30 p.m. to report that the vessel had sprung a small leak in the morning and that a tug was on its way, with an additional pump. However, by 4.20 p.m., as a precautionary measure, additional pumps were requested. Humber Coastguard requested a rescue helicopter from RAF Boulmer to scramble and take an additional two pumps to the vessel. The crew has re-routed their main ballast pump and the ingress of water could be stemmed. All 21 people onboard the vessel were safe and well. There was a 6-8 metre swell on scene with northerly force 7 winds. The "Sea Profiler" headed for the River Humber and met with the tug "Red Wolf", which escorted it for the rest of its passage to Hull.
