Tanker left Chittagong after repairs
The "Ocean Pluto", after completion of temporary repair works, sailed to Singapore on Sep 27. The bulk carrier "Fushun", after completion of temporary repair works and lightening of 22030 metric tonnes of Chittagong allocation cargo, sailed to Mongla on Sep 28, with the balance of 22000 tonnes of cargo on board for final discharge there.

After its allision with the 'Fushun', the 'Ocean Pluto' was presently moored at Chittagong Customary Inner Charlie Anchorage and was being repaired which was expected to take about a week, subject to all goes well. Earlier, the vessel had completed its cargo operation at DOJ/6 of Chittagong Port on Sep 27 at 6.15 p.m.
Allision off Chittagong
The 'Ocean Pluto' was in allision with the moored 'Fushun' when trying to pass near the bow of the bulk carrier at at Chittagong Outer Anchorage on Sep 23, 2019, at 12.05 p.m. The product tanker's starboard quarter came in contact with the port bow and propeller of the 'Fushun' and the anchor chain. Both vessels sustained severe damages. Surveyors of all concerned parties started a damage survey on Sep 26. The discharging of cargo from both vessels continued. The 'Ocean Pluto', loaded with 32,362 tonnes of gas oil, had arrived at Chittagong at 06.40 a.m. The 'Fushun' with 44,030 tonnes of cement clinker in bulk had arrived on Sep 20 at 4.50 p.m. and was discharging its cargo into lighter vessels alongside.
