Bulk carrier lost anchor
The 'Ultra Integrity', en route from Baton Rouge to Liverpool with a crew of 21 on board, lost its port anchor with nine shackles in position 53 25 06 N, 004 08 26 W on No 12, 2019, at 2 p.m. The vessel now only has one anchor and has no provision for berthing for the next three days minimum. The agent has advised to drift for three days. The vessel was carrying wood pellets as cargo and was drifting in position 53 30 55 N, 004 10 46 W in a northwest gale force 9 wind, reducing to 8 in moderate or rough seas. The 'Ultra Integrity' made its way to the pilot station in Liverpool on Nov 16 at 07.40 a.m. and berthed at the Langton Dock, Liverpool, at 1.30 p.m.
