Medevac off Gando

On Sep 9, 2021, the 'Sarocha Naree', en route from Tubarao to Las Palmas, requested the medical evacuation of a crew member 170 miles south of Gando. The CCS Las Palmas mobilized the SAR helicopter Helimer 204, which hoisted the patient and took him it to the Gando airport (Las Palmas), where he wass picked up by an ambulance and transferred to a hhospital.

Bulkcarrier grounded off Wilmington

The "Sarocha Naree" ran aground on June 1, 2018, at 4 p.m. while leaving Wilmington, North Carolina. It got stuck off Bald Head Island, Cape Fear River estuary. Two tugs were on scene at 8 p.m., and the ship was refloated with the rising tide on June 2 at 2 a.m. It was moored at Wilmington Anchorage southwest of Bald Head island.
