Collision in ice convoy

The tanker "Svytoy Petr" and the "Svyatoy Pavel" were in collision in the Laptev Sea on Nov 12, 2015, at 11.34 p.m. in pos. 74 53N 133 50E on the Northern Sea Route, while proceeding in an ice convoy with the nuclear icebreaker"Vaygach" in heavy ice. The "Svytoy Petr" suffered a damaged bulwark on 20 meters length at the portside stern. The "Syvatoy Pavel" got a crack in the starboard bow with a length of five meters and a width of 20-50 centimeters four meters above waterline. She was left at the accident site, while the "Syvatoy Petr" was taken under tow by the "Syvatoy Vaygach" towards the Temp Bay. She was en route from Murmansk to Pevek, the "Syvatoy Petr" was en route to Kotelniy Island between Laptev and the East Siberian seas.

Repairs in Brunsbuettel finished

The "Weserstern" following the engine room fire on Mar 8, passed the Brunsbuettel locks of the Kiel Canal after repairs on Mar 11 at 1.50 a.m. and berthed at Rotterdam Botlek on Mar 12 , 11.40 a.m.

Enroute Porvoo-Rotterdam the "Weserstern" suffered an engine room fire in the new Northern lock at Brunsbuettel in the Kiel Canal before entering the Northsea on Mar 8, 2012, around 8 p.m. The fire could be extinguished, and the ship was moored at the eastern railway pilings in Brunsbuettel.
