Fishing boat towed to Santa Maria
On the morning of March 7, 2025, the 'Salvamar Suhail' was tasked to assist a fishing boat that had become disabled 4.5 nautical miles from Cabo Roche. 11 migrants rescued off Puerto América
On Jan 4, 2025, the SAR helicopter Helimer 220 located a migrant boat. The 'Salvamar Suhail' was deployed to the scene and rescued 11 people from boat. The castaways were isembarked a Puerto América. The SAR operation wascoordinated by the MRCC of Salvamento Marítimo in Cadiz.
30 migrants rescued off Cádiz
On Nov 7, the frigate Reina Sofia' of the Spanish Navy located a precarious boat with migrants on board about 23 nautical miles southwest of Cádiz. The 'Salvamar Suhail' was mobilized and rescuesd 30 Moroccan migrants at 3:45 a.m. The people were transferred to Puerto América. The response to the emergency was coordinated by the MRCC of Salvamento Marítimo in Cádiz.
