37 migrants rescued in two missions

On Nov 28 at 3:45 a.m., the 'Salvamar Algenib' rescued 12 Maghrebian migrants, among them five men, three women and and four minors, from a precarious boatwhich had been located by the m/v 'Georgia S' about 28 nautical miles southeast of Cabo de Gata. The castaways were disembarked in Almería at 5:40 a.m. At 7:58 a.m., the 'Salvamar Spica' rescued 25 Maghrebian boat people. among them 22 men, one woman and two minors, from a precarious boat, whoch had been located by the mm/v 'Almariya' about 40 nautical miles souhtsoutheast of Almería. The boat people were disembarked in Almería at 9.47 am. The emergency responses were coordinated by the Almería Maritime Rescue Centre of Salvamento Marítimo.

159 migrants rescued in four missions

On Nov 6, the 'Salvamar Spica' has rescued 15 migrants from a boat, which had been located by a merchant vessel about 20 nautical miles south of Faro Sabinal. The castaways were transferred to Almeria. The 'Salvamar Gienah' has transferred 21 people to Motril from a boat which was previously located by the Guardia Civil south of Almuñécar. On the morning, the 'Salvamar Mizar' was mobilized to a cyuco which was located ten nautical miles south of El Hierro with 55 people on board. T'he migrants were accompanied to the port of La Restinga. The 'Guardamar Polimnia' has rescued 68 people from a rubber boat 42 nautical miles east of Arrecife. 24 people on two boats got assistance

On Nov 5, a migrant boat was reported adrift two nautical miles southwest of Cabo de Gata. The CCS Almería of Salvamento Marítimo mobilized the 'Salvamar Spica' to assist, which rescued the 16 people on board and transferred them to Almería. At Banco del Hoyo in Cádiz, a merchant ship spotted an inflatable boat with eight people on board. The CCS Tarifa of Salvamento Marítimo mobilized the 'Salvamar Enif', which took them to Barbate.
