Motor boat towed to Pollença

On Aug 20 the motorboat 'Miracles' with one crew member on board requested assistance after it went adrift due to rudder problems near Cala Gossalba in the Bay of Pollença. The CCS Palma of Salvamento Marítimo mobilized the 'Salvamar Saiph' to assist, which took the boat in tow and safely pulled it to the port of Pollença.

13 migrants rescued off Almería

On July 3, 2024, the merchant ships 'Visborg' and 'Volcan de Tamadaba' sighted an inflatable boat which had stopped 24 nautical miles south of Almería. The CCS Almería mobilized the 'Salvamar Saiph', which rescued the 13 men on board and transferred them to the fishing port of Almería. On June 18, 2024, the CNCS reporteds the request for assistance of the motorboat 'Dofi Verd' with three people on board, which was disabled and adrift due to a mechanical breakdown in the bay of Alcudia.
