Fishing vessel towed to Las Palmas

On Oct 22, the 'Salvamar Nunki' towed a fishing vessel about 30 nautical miles from the port of Las Palmas, which had reported a problem with its main engine and two of the auxiliy engines. The vessel came from Nouadhibou and was in transit to the Red Sea. The CCS Las Palmas of Salvament Marítimo mobilized the SAR boat, which took the ship in to to the port. Yacht towed to Las Palmas

The French sailing yacht 'Harmattan' issued a PAN PAN call 30 nautical miles northeast of Las Palmas on Oct 11, requesting assistance due to engine problems, with four people on board, among them two children. The CCS Las Palmas of Salvamento Marítimo mobilized the 'Salvamar Nunki,' which locates the boat and towed it to the port of Las Palmas.

Pleasure boat towed to Las Palmas

On April 1, the pleasure boat 'Picacho 1' was disabled and went adrift, with one crew member on board, in the Boca Barranco area. The 'Salvamar Nunki' was mobilized by the CCS Las Palmas of Salvamento Marítimo.
