Pleasure boat towed to Los Gigantes

On Nov 20, the pleasure boat "Abis", with two people on board, was unable to return to the port due to adverse weather conditions in Punta Teno and requested assistance. The CCS Tenerife of Salvamento Marítimo mobilized the 'Salvamar Menkalinan', which took the boat in tow and safely pulled it to Los Gigantes. 77 migrants assisted off La Restinga

On Sep 30 the 'Salvamar Menkalinan' was mobilized to assist a cayuco which had been located six nautical miles south ofLa Restinga. The boat had 77 sub-Saharan peopleon board, among them four women and three minors. The migrants were accompanied to the port of La Restinga. The respnmse was coordinated by the CCS Tenerife of Salvamento Marítimo.

On the morning of Sep 15 the crew of the 'Salvamar Menkalinan' has accompanied a cayuco which was located one nautical mile south of La Restinga with 87 sub-Saharan people on board, among them two women and two minors. The CCS Tenerife of Salvamento Marítimo has coordinated the operation. At 3:54 a.m. the disembarkation took place at the dock of La Restinga.
