Allision in Rostock

On Oct 14, 2015, at 11:30 p.m. the "Saga Falcon" allided with the quay of berth 45 in the Seaport Rostock while entering port with Pilot and tug assistance. The stern hit a crane and damaged it. The hull was breached and dented on 50 cm² about 1,5 meters above the water line. The Police launched an investigation.

Repair in China due to start

The "Saga Falcon" arrived at Jinagyin on Mar 23 and was now awaiting drydock space after the Rio de la Plata grounding. The ship's bottom will be repaired at the Changxi Shipyard, which has already been a familiar drydock for the Saga Welco vessels in the past.

Saga Falcon sailing again
