Disabled ferry towed to Bergen
On Nov 17, 2017, at 3.30 p.m. the Norwegian Coastguard vessel "Tyr" assisted the "Rygercruise in the Osterfjord because the ferry had suffered propulsion problems. About a hundred meters of rope had fouled the propeller of the Rødne Fjord Cruise catamaran which was underway between Bergen and Mostraumen in the eastern part of the Osterfjord with passengers on board. The "Tyr" was nearby and could assist on short notice. As the ferry had two propellers there was still some momentum, but it had rocked violently when it got the rope in the propeller. The ship was safely taken in tow and berthed in Bergen.
