River Concerto departed from Emmerich for repairs
While the "Margaux" headed for a repair yard in Duisburg on May 22, the "River Concerto" remained in the custom's port in Emmerich until the afternoon when she finally departed for a yard in the Netherlands. The ship was allowed to proceed with slow speed after lengthy investigations by the maritime authorities and reached Tolkamer at 4.30 p.m. The damages in the hull were temporary covered. The damage is assessed to be some 100000 Euro.

"River Concerto" evacuated after collision
On May 22, 2011, at 1 a.m. the inland tank m/v "Margaux" was in collision with the "River Concerto" on the Rhine niear Emmerich. The ship which was underway with 136 passengers and a crew of 36 was damaged above the waterline and berthed at a pier at Emmerich where the fire brigade treated the passengers, two of whom were slightly hurt.
