Grounding at Goseong
The 'Risun' ex 'Great Marine 21' ran aground while being anchored at the Goseong anchorage, Goseong, about 40 meters off Maejeong village during strong winds and high waves under the influence of the typhoon Maysak on Sep 3, 2020, at 12.50 a.m. All 14 crew members were rescued by the Coast Guard. Local agents together with the Coast Guard were now looking for a salvage company to refloat the vessel.
