Ferry crew saved three boaties
The ferryboat 'Lovund Superior' with three people on board ran aground west of Lurøya in Nordland on Feb 5, 2020, and was breached. Several vessels have responded to the situation and were on their way to the accident. At 8.52 a.m. a rescue boat was deployed from the 'Regine Normann' and picked up the three. They were then dropped off on board a fishing boat. Work was on to salvage the speedboat. The 'Nautilus Survey' and 'Nautilus Aldra' were enroute to the grounding site.
