Barge suffered water ingress in Lübeck
On Nov 5, 2018, at 2 p.m. the "Regina", 1165 ts (EU-No.: 04020980), suffered water ingress in the Klug Port in Lübeck. The ship was threatened to sink. The crew alerted thee fire brigade which managed to patch the leak in a steel pipe and thus stop the water ingress. At that time some tons water had already poured in and got mixed up with oil. The oil-water mixture had risen to one meter inside the vessel. During the afternoon about nine tons by the special company Bitunamel Feldmann were pumped off and contained in a vacuum truck for disposal. The ship which had sailed from Hamburg on Oct 31 now needed to be repaired for further sailing. Master misjudged bridge height
On Nov 15, 2012, the "Regina" allided with the railway bridge at Elsfleth-Ohrt on the Hunte. The Polish master had misjudged the height of the bridge, and the wheelhouse crashed against the lower parts of the bridge thereby losing its roof. No one was hurt. The ship was stopped for investigations of the police Brake, and the master was facing a fine. The bridge was not damaged in the accident.
