Medevac off Le Havre

A French Dragon 76 helicopter of the Civil Rescue Service with a medical team of SAMU on board medevaced the master of the "Ingunn" in the afternoon Dec 2, 2014, 60 nm northwest of Cape de la Heve, Le Havre, with heart attack symptoms. The vessel was en route from Aveiro to Hull when, at 2.10 p.m., the vessel contacted the CROSS Jobourg for a medical consultation. It liaised with the Centre of Medical Consultation in Toulouse and the SAMU, and an immediate medevac was decided. The man, aged 42, was hoisted and delivered at the hospital Jacques Monod in Havre at 5.50 p.m.
