Technical failure in Istanbul Strait
The "Zeybe", being en route from Golcuk to Karadeniz Eregli, Turkey, in ballast condition, suffered a technical failure while passing through the Istanbul Strait at Haydarpasa point on July 16, 2019, at 8.30 p.m. The vessel was shifted to Istanbul roads for permanent repairs by the crew. The strait passage permission has been temporarily cancelled until completion of repairs. The ship sailed from Istanbul Anchorage on July 17 at 4 p.m. with an ETA at Eregli as of July 19.
