Steering gear failure

The "Radisson" suffered a steering gear failure, while approaching the dock off Saint-Joseph-de-la-Rive, Quebec, in position 47 26 46.6N, 070 21 54.7W, on July 9, 2019, at 5.30 p.m. The vessel subsequently moored, the crew carried out repairs, and the vessel resumed its operations.

Ferry repaired and back in service

The N.M. Radisson" was back in service on Sep 14, 2011, at 3.20 p.m. Following the allision on Sep 12, the ship has undergone various checks and repairs. Necessary authorizations for the reactivation of the the "N.M. Radisson" required by Transport Canada were awarded in the afternoon.

Ferry allided with quay

The "M.N. Radisson" is being repaired following an incident Sep 12 at 4:50 p.m. at the dock in Lévis. When approaching the quay, the vessel struck the pier, causing damage to the starboard side foreship at the car deck level. Twelve of the 140 passengers suffered minor injuries due to the impact. On Sep 13, the "Lomer-Gouin" was in operation with an enhanced capacity of 590 passengers. The schedule between Levis and Quebec was changed to 40 minutes between 6 am and 10 am and between 14 am and 18 pm and 60 minutes the remaining time. A Marine Investigation was underway.
