ICON Yachts is working on the newconversion project "Ragnar". The base is the ex-offshore vessel "Sanaborg" with a Polar Class 5 hull. The new lines were designed by the British design studio RWD. The yacht will accommodate 16 guests in six guest cabins and two owner staterooms. Alongside the typical standard features like a massage room, sauna and full-size gym, the yacht will have an ice pool and a snow room. The explorer yacht will feature a certified helicopter landing pad for an EC 145 and 1 x Ripsaw EV2 (known from the movie Fast & Furious 8) 2 x 8m tenders 2 x 6m RIBs 1 x Submarine for two people 2 x jet skis 2 x laser sailing boats 1 x RIB Castoldi 26 During the conversion, several tanks will be removed and converted into a Leisure/ Spa area. Due to its low draft of only 3.15 meters, the vessel can go quite near shores and beaches, and thanks to its air- cooled generator she has the capability to beach the vessel. Project Ragnar" is a twin ice pod propelled diesel electric motor yacht designed to accommodate 6 guestrooms (12pax) plus tow owner rooms each 2 pax. The ship was being docked in Harlingen since Sep 11. Illustrated reports: http://iconyachts.eu/news/?p=274 https://yachtemoceans.com/ragnar-icon-yachts/
