Ferry suffered ramp damage

In the morning hours of Oct 19, 2024, the Port Authority of Neapolis Voion was informed by the master of the 'Pprfyroutsa' about failure to raise the ramp during the ship's departure procedure for the scheduled route to Kythera, Antikythera and return, with 55 passengers on board. The Port Authority of Neapolis Voion prohibited the sailing of the ferry until the repair of the damage and the presentation of a certificate of maintenance of class by the surveyor monitoring the ship.

Allision in Naples

In the morning of Apr 15, 2018, the "Porfyrousa" allided with the quay during the mooring manoever at the port of Naples, arriving from Diakofti Kythira during the scheduled service. The ship had on board 148 passengers, four trucks and 46 private vehicles. The ship was securely berthed and disembarked the passengers. No injuries nor marine pollution were reported. The ferry was detained by the port authority until damages were repaired and a class certificate presented by the classification society. A preliminary investigation was carried out by the port authority.
