Tanker broke from moorings in Amsterdam
On March 9, 2019, the "Cape Bradley" broke from its moorings at the Euro Tank Terminal Amsterdam Vito during cargo operations due to stormy westerly wind along with the connected cargo arm. Tugs urgently were called for assistance to push vessel towards the jetty. During the tugs assistance the cargo arm was severely damaged being connected to the ship's manifold and squeezed between the ship's side and the jetty. The tugs "Pollux" (IMO: 5422112) and "Svitzer Tempest" (IMO: 9793076) were employed to assist and to keep vessel strictly alongside to avoid further moving due to strong wind and were still holding the ship on March 12. The ship left Amsterdam on April 12 and headed to Tuzla, ETA April 22.
