Crew member injured in accident in Lisbon

On Nov 12, 2021, the 'Perseus' notified the Gabinete de Investigação de Acidentes Marítimos e da Autoridade para a Meteorologia Aeronáutica (GAMA) of an accident with a crew member while weighing anchor at the port of Lisbon on Nov 9. The man suffered a non-serious wound. The ship left the port at 8.25 p.m., headed to Algeciras, where it arrived on Nov 11 at 4.55 a.m. The GAMA started collecting the evidence for analysis and notified the European Commission through the European Platform for Information on Maritime Accidents (EMCIP).

Engine failure off Dungeness Point

The "Perseus J.", en route from Antwerp to Agadir, suffered an engine failure, needing the replacement of the main fuel pump, 26,2 miles from Dungeness Point in position 050 34 27.0 N, 000 31 33.6 E, on Dec 3, 2018, at 3 p.m. The vessel was within the southwest lane of the Dover TSS. The ship was carrying 3.590 tonnes of general cargo. At 5 p.m. repairs were completed, and it resumed the voyage to Agadir, ETA Dec 7, 3 p.m.
