Propeller fouled by cable

In the evening of June 18, 2021, the 'Perlite' got a cable entangled around the porpeller during its departure from the port of Gavrio. The Port Authority detained the vessel in port until the obstruction was removed and a class maintenance certificate issued by the attending classification society.

Grounding off Kolding

The "Visnes' ran aground in the morning of Jan 24, 2019, in pos. 55° 29.62' N 009° 34.99' E close to the entrance of the Kolding Fjord enroute from Copenhagen to Kolding with a cargo of stone. There were no signs of a spillage and the environmental ship 'Gunnar Thorson' was sent to the area. The 'Visnes' must be examined by divers before it can be refloated. The Danish patrol boat ""P 523" (MMSI: 220434000) went on standby. On Jan 25 at 11.30 a.m. the tug "Obelix" (IMO: 9691448) sailed from Fredericia and connected to the casualty in the early afternoon. The freighter berthed in Kolding at 3 p.m. after having been pulled into deeper water and was being investigated. left the port of Kolding again on Feb 8 at 2.45 p.m. The ship sailed again on Feb 8 at 2.45 p.m., headed to Gdynia, where it moored in pos. 54° 31.58' N 018° 35.67' E off the port on Feb 10.
