Bulkcarrier in embankment of Kiel Canal

On June 5, 2017, at 1.12 p.m. the "Silverstar", enroute from Lisboa, ran into the Southern embankment of the Kiel Canal at Kudensee during the eastbound transit of the waterway. At 1.20 p.m. the ship pulled itself out with own power. The ship berthed in Kiel at 9.30 p.m. for inspections. At 5 a.m. on May 6 the ship continued the voyage to Tallinn, ETA May 8, 8 a.m.
