Tanker boarded by perpetrators

Two robbers in a boat boarded the moored 'Palawan Star' at Lagos anchorage, Nigeria, in position 006 15 42N, 003 19 06E, on Feb 1, 2020, at 01.30 a.m. They tried to seize the duty able seaman on his routine rounds, but he managed to escape and raise the alarm. Hearing the alerted crew, the robbers escaped in their boat without stealing anything. The incident was reported to Nigerian Navy, which sent a patrol vessel to investigate.
