Grounding on Paraná river

The 'Ourania Luck' ran aground on the Paraná river in the General Lagos area on July 5, 2020, at 1.30 a.m. while proceeding downstream from San Lorenzo with a cargo of maize. The ship which blocked the fairway could be refloated late at night and anchored in pos. 33° 6.84' S 060° 30.16' W at Arroyo Seco with the tug 'Brutus' (IMO: 701006670) at her side. It is said, that while aground, the ship blocked all the traffic in the area.
