Disabled trawler taken in tow
On Feb 11, 2018, the "Orfirisey" suffereed an engine damage at the North Cape Bank and requested for assistance. The Norwegian Coastguard deployed the "Nordkapp" which was 40 miles away. It took the disabled vessel in tow towards the coast where civilian salvors were to take over so that the "Nordkapp" would be able to continue with its patrol mission. The "Orfirisey" sailed from Hammerfest after repairs on March 4.
