Tanker with rudder damage towed to Le Havre

On the afternoon of Dec 5, 2024, the 'Oracliff', carrying a cargo cooking oil, suffered rudder damage off Barfleur and notfied the CROSS Jobourg that it was unmaneuverable, Innitially a Dutch salvage company was contracted to tow the tanker to Belgium in anticipation of the storm Darragh storm. On Dec 6, a damage to the tug led to the cancellation of the operation. The Maritime Prefect of the Channel and the North Sea then mobilized the emergency tug 'Abeille Liberté' to take the tanker in tow to the port of Le Havre, where it arrived on the morning of Dec 7 in coordination with the port services. As of Dec 9, it remained stationary in port.

Disabled tanker towed to Gh3nt

On Dec 11 the 'Oracliff' was towed out of Le Havre by the tug 'Abeille Horizon' en route to Gh3nt. On Flushing roads the tugs 'Multratug 33' as steering tug and the 'Multratug 1' and 'CMS Warrior' took over on Dec 13 on the final leg to Ghent.

Cliffwater left Rotterdam after repairs

The "Cliffwater" which had been towed to Rotterdam after it suffered engine damage while enroute from Immingham to Le Havre left the Chemical Port in Rotterdam on Feb 22 at 11 p.m. again, moved to the petrol port 2 and finally left Rotterdam again on Feb 25 at 10.40 a.m.
