Containership disabled off Antimilos

The "Millau Bridge" suffered engine failure in the afternoon of Dec 18, 2016, northwest of Antimilos island, while en route from Piraeus to Port Said. The vessel with a crew of 23 on board was towed back to Piraeus by three tugs and moored on Piraeus anchorage in the afternoon of Dec 19. After repairs the ship resumed the voyage with an ETA of Dec 22 at Port Said.

14,000TEU Container Vessel “Millau Bridge” Delivered

KAWASAKI KISEN KAISHA, LTD. (“K” Line) is pleased to announce that the “Millau Bridge”, the first of five 14,000 TEU vessels ordered in 2013, has been duly delivered on April 1 at Imabari Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. Hiroshima Shipyard. The respective vessel will be deployed on the Asia-Europe service (NE2) under the CKYHE Alliance.
