Gazpromneft Marine Bunker Begins Supply of STASCO Vessels in Black Sea
Gazpromneft Marine Bunker LLC (Gazpromneft) Wednesday announced that it has begun providing bunker supply services, via its bunker vessel Gazpromneft Omsk, to Shell International Trading and Shipping Company Ltd (STASCO) vessels within the Black Sea region. "The expansion of cooperation with STASCO is a substantial confirmation of appreciation for the quality of our fuels and service by our partners," said Andrei Vasiliev, CEO of Gazpromneft. Gazpromneft Shipping Launches New Bunker Tanker
Russia's Gazpromneft Shipping Ltd. has launched its newest bunker tanker, the Gazpromneft Omsk, IAA Portnews reports. The 5000-DWT vessel was christened at the Port of Novorossiysk, where the ceremony was attended by Alexey Klyavin, president of the Russian Chamber of Shipping, Dmitry Kinè, CEO of Gazpromneft Shipping Ltd, and Vladimir Korolev, acting Harbourmaster of the port.
Tanker disabled off Brest
The "Aksaz C" suffered engine failure on Oct 1, 2014, at 4 p.m. 120 miles off Brest. The ship, which came from Las Palmas and was headed to Pembroke (had 3,000 tons of vegetable oil on board. The owner accepted the assistance of the tug "Abeille Bourbon" which headed towards the tanker in the evening. The ship was towed to Brest on Oct 2 at 1 p.m.
