Angry tourists who wree left ashore blocked ferry trapdoor

More than 50 Asian tourists blocked the trapdoor of the "Fjærlandfjord" for one hour in Flåmand prevented the ferry to leave after they had been refused to come on board on Oct 14, 2012. They had bought tickets for this fjord trip a year in advance, and the temperature rose quickly when they did not get let go onboard the ferry because it was full of other passengers. A heated discussion between tourists and ferry crew arose. Only after an hour the Asians gave up, and the ferry could embark on its trip. Fjord1 apologized and said they had received an order for 105 persons, but because of the fine weather many more came, and when the crew was taken by surprise. Many without pre-negotiated ticket streamed aboard. The crew was unable to distinguish between those who had commissioned the trip in advance and the others who wanted a tour.
