Fire on tanker under dismantling
In the morning of Feb 20, 2016, a fire broke out on board of the "Nuevo Pemex IV", while she was docked in the Naval Ship Yard in Veracruz. The tanker was in the process of dismantling. The TNG staff who worked on the ship was evacuated, there was no need to raise the alert level of the port. The fire most probably was caused by a spark which inflamed oil waste. Its spread was stopped by firefighters, and the plan was to wait until the fuel waste burnt out.
