The "CL Aquarius" suffered a loss of power in Vancouver, British Columbia, in position 49 17.6 N, 123 05.897 W, on Aug 18, 2018, at 10.45 a.m. The crew was able to re-start the engine, however it stalled four times en route to Canada Place. Two tugs assisted the vessel to moor alongside a cruise ship at the Rogers Sugar Terminal.
