Ferry broken up in Fosen

On Nov 13, 2021, the 'Nordmøre' left the port of Kristiansund en route to the Fosen Gjenvinning AS in Fosen for dismantling. The ship has been decommissioned in 2020 when the ferry 'Stangvikfjord' was introduced on the route Kvanne-Rykkjem. Ferry sidelined due to technical trouble

On July 22, 2019, at 9 a.m. the "Nordmøre" suffered a failure of an auxiliary engine. The ship had to be taken out of service, and the crew was waiting for spare parts for the repairs in Molde. The ferry service between Midsund and the mainland was interrupted. Operator Fjord 1 had to let the Aukra ferry go in a triangular connection between Hollingen, Aukra and Solholmen while struggling to get a crew to staff the replacement ferry "Årdal". The ship entered the connection between Solholmen and Mordalsvågen on July 23 at 3.30 p.m.

Leakage at propeller shaft

On Jan 19, 2018, at noon the "Nordmøre" had to be taken out of the Solholmen - Hollingsholmen - Aukra route following a leakage at one of the propeller shafts. A new traffic announcement by operator Fjord1 was due in the afternoon.
