Disabled trawler under tow to Kirkenes
The 'Nord Tral' suffered a jammed steering gear off the Norwegian coast on June 18, 2020. The tug 'Murmanryba' was deployed from the port of Murmansk for assistance and reached the trawler on June 20 at 10 p.m. It was pulled to Sever-1, the intersection point of the Russian-Norwegian zone at a speed of 4-5 knots in favourable weather. The convoy was destined to the port of Kirkenes for repairs at a shipyard with an ETA as of June 25. All other equipment aboard was in good working order. The ship left the port on July 8 and returned to the Barents Sea.
