High level of oil in the main engine sump
The 'Nomadic Milde', en route from Rotterdam to Barranquilla with 14 crew members on board, was NUC in pos. 50 14 54 N, 002 33 40 W on Feb 23, 2023, at around nooon, due to a high level of oil in the main engine sump. Thecrrw carried out inspectionan inspection, and the ship then resumed is voyage with an ETA as of March 11.

The National Transportation Safety Board has issued its report on the allision of the 'Atlantic Venus', now the 'Stella Enguri', and 'Nomadic Milde' on May 8, 2020, at about 4.55 p.m. LT in which the anchored 'Nomadic Milde' contacted the anchored bulk carrier 'Atlantic Venus' on the Lower Mississippi River near New Orleans. After the 'Nomadic Milde' began to swing and drag its anchors in the current, it allided with the 'Atlantic Venus', which had been anchored directly behind it, and then struck a nearby chemical dock and grounded on the bank. No injuries were reported. The Nomadic Milde released an estimated 13 gallons of lube oil into the river. Damage to both vessels and the dock was estimated at $16.9 million.
