Ship suffered mechanical failure

The "Nolhavana" was immobilized by a broken down pump at Halifax on Feb 4, 2018, and could not provide cargo services to the French archipelagoes Saint Pierre and Miquelon. The cargo ship "Atlantic Power" (IMO: 9190119) replaced the "Nolhavana", and as of Feb 7 she was underway from Halifax, heading for the archipelago. The "Atlantic Power" was expected to arrive in the port of Saint-Pierre ton Feb 7 between 3 and 6 p.m. The "Nolhavana" meanwhile, remained stuck ay the container terminal in Halifax, waiting for spare parts to be delivered from Germany.

Ionada wins order to supply Membrane Scrubber™ exhaust gas cleaning system for RO-RO Cargo Carrier

Marine scrubber technology leader Ionada Incorporated, has won a contract to supply its Membrane Scrubber™ for MG Management’s RO-RO carrier, the NOLHANAVA. Ionada will deliver the 6 MW Membrane Scrubber™ in the 4th quarter of 2015.
