Danger of explosion after oil spill
Between 30,000 and 40,000 liters of gasoline were spilt on the quay at the Benzin Way in Aalborg on Sep 18, 2015, when the "Nimbus" pumped oil into tanks on shore. Part of gasoline also leaked into the port in Aalborg. Timewise there was acute danger of an explosion, and parts of the quay were cordoned off. Emergency Aalborg was struggling to get the gasoline sucked up. The Aalborg fire brigade stopped the leak and put foam onto the spilled fuel getting thus control of the situation.
