Damaged barge on slip in Lauenburg
On Sep 21 the damaged "Niedersachsen 12" was pulled to the Hitzler Yard in Lauenburg by the barge "Niedersachsen 11" of the NVG. On Sep 23 the vessel was pulled onto the slip. A damaged vent was thought to have caused the water ingress on the Elbe. The tank barge "Beate" had assisted in securing the ship and rceived the oil contaminated water, and the "Niedersachsen 22" had taken over its cargo with the help of the dredger "Stove" and moved the casualty to Geesthacht. Coal barge threatened to sink after grounding on the Elbe
On Sep 20, 2013, at 7 p.m. the "Niedersachsen 22" ran aground at the northern Elbe bank you look at where the route she was on the north bank of the Elbe near the main dyke of Altengamme and suffered water ingress in the engine room. The ship was loaded with coal. Firefighters proceeded with several engines and took off the crew. The ship the engine room of which was flooded was taken alongside by another barge and stabilized.
